DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first General Meeting for the 2026-2027 Season. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday\, September 10th\, 2026. The meeting will be a live\, in-person event and also streamed on our Zoom channel. The link for Zoom meetings for all of 2026 – 2027 will be the same unless othwerwise noted. Check our Events Calendar for each meeting if changes are made. \nOur program tonight will be Beyond the “Birds of Texas”  The “Birds of Texas” field guide\, published in 2025\, spans 614 pages\, yet cannot fit every fascinating bird story. Learn some fun bird facts not in the field guide from well-known Texas author and birder\, David Sarkozi\, such as which duck is Texas’s nocturnal duck or who are the namesakes behind Rivoli’s and Anna’s hummingbirds and their link to James Bond. \nPlease note: we will be meeting in a new room and building location at UNT Health of Fort Worth.
