Invitation to Join as a Chapter-only Member of the Fort Worth Audubon Society

Members of Fort Worth Audubon Society join hundreds of fellow north Texans who enjoy watching birds in their natural habitat.

A portion of your National Membership dues are shared with state and local Audubon chapters. The shared dues are intended to help promote Audubon’s conservation and education efforts. The portion of National Membership shared dues have been reduced, leaving local Audubon chapters with less funding to support the chapters budget, local conservation and education projects.

In response, Fort Worth Audubon has created a Chapter-only Membership. Every dollar of your Chapter-only Membership dues goes towards local projects and operational costs. These include providing Audubon Adventures classroom kits to over 90 elementary teachers in Tarrant County schools, and habitat restoration projects at Fort Worth Nature Center, River Legacy Park, and several other Texas agencies who support wildlife rescue, environment awareness education and habitat improvement.

For more information about joining the Fort Worth Audubon Society we have a great downloadable brochure.
