Village Creek Drying Beds Christmas Bird Count (CBC), Friday, 12/25/2024

Come out and assist us in this citizen science project. This is the 44th year for the VCDB CBC and the 125th National Audubon CBC.
The center of the count circle is near the eastern edge of the drying beds in north Arlington. The 15-mile circle includes much of the mid-cities area (Arlington, Bedford, Euless, and Hurst.) This is a very urban area, but filled with some very ‘birdy’ city parks and trails. You can sign up for the whole day, or only join one of the 8 teams for a few hours.
If you are interested, please email avianadmin@fwas.org and the count leader will get back to you. The CBC is a great event for both beginner and experienced birders. Many of the more experienced bird watchers in our chapter honed their skills by taking part in the CBC.
