NEW! Settler’s Park, Grapevine, (formerly Silverlake) with Jim Sipiora
Go exploring with Jim Sipiora at a new park in east Grapevine near Grapevine Lake. The city has not officially listed this park on their website yet. But folks on eBird have been there several times and listed it as a Hotspot. If you use the address listed on Google maps you will see directions on how to get to the park.
Jim and other local birders have visited the park a few times this winter and reported on eBird that there are Greater Scaup. There is a short 0.75 mile trail around the lake with some woodlands.
Currently, Google Maps shows the entrance and small parking area are on Bass Pro Court. If there is not enough parking available in the park, there may be ample parking across the street at the Hilton Hotel. But be aware if there are No Parking signs at the Hilton then you may have to park on the street.
