Join the folks at Dogwood Canyon for their ever-popular annual winter fundraiser, Stars & S’mores, on February 3, 2024, from 6p-9p. This unique event gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy an evening at Dogwood Canyon after hours. Explore a trail using your night vision, roast marshmallows over a campfire, view the night sky through a variety of telescopes and quench your thirst with a beer or warm up at a fancy hot chocolate bar. Plus, there will be live music, outdoor games, and live birds of prey. We time this event when there is not the glow of a full moon to avoid blowout of night sky viewing, yet have enough illumination to still be able to view craters of the moon. Limited special guided hikes will also be available.
