Join Jim Sipiora for a guided walk around Cement Creek Lake. The total distance around the lake is about 1 mile. Targeted birds will be marsh and grassland birds. Rubber boots are recommended. There are no restrooms available on the property. Parking is limited.
Access to the lake: Take HWY 820 to BUS 287 / N. Main Street. Go south on Main Street less than a 1/4 mile. You will see a dirt road entrance on your right. Follow the dirt road back north along the Meacham Airport perimiter fence until you reach a small parking area. (the dirt road turns left, but only authorized vehicles are allowed to drive down to the lake)
