Foster Park (Fort Worth) Local Bird Walk

Join Jean Ferguson at Foster Park on the second Saturday of the month  from September 2026 to August, 2027, (except where noted due to conflicts.)

The park is located at Trail Lake Dr. in south Fort Worth. This is Ft. Worth Audubon’s longest running monthly field trip! This is a great field trip for both beginning and experienced bird watchers as this linear trail attracts many migrants thanks to a small stream and wooded canopy. Easy walking on paved trails. The walk usually lasts 1 to 2 hours. 

Start Times vary from season to season:
August & September (2026) and June to August (2027):  start time is 7:30 AM.
October to December (2026) and January to May (2027): start time is 8:30 AM

Dress for the current weather conditions, and bring water and snacks if wanted.

There were conflicts in January and May of 2027, so for those months the Foster Park walk has been moved to the 3rd Saturday.
